About this role

Rocket Lab seeks an Avionics Automation Test Engineer II to lead deployment and support of an internal test automation platform for spacecraft programs. You'll collaborate across teams to enhance testing efficiency, resolve technical issues, and enable successful satellite integration and test campaigns.

What you'll do

  • Lead deployment and utilization of internal test automation platform for spacecraft programs
  • Provide critical support to Assembly, Integration and Test (AIT) team during spacecraft test campaigns
  • Collaborate with systems, flight software, ground software, and operations teams to add features and manage software deployments
  • Investigate and resolve bugs and technical issues reported by other teams
  • Support diverse testing needs across multiple spacecraft programs
