About this role
Rocket Lab seeks an Electrical Engineer I to design and develop avionics hardware for spacecraft programs in Long Beach, CA. You'll work on PCBA design, circuit analysis, and testing throughout the full development lifecycle, collaborating with cross-functional teams on missions to the Moon, Mars, and beyond.
What you'll do
- Develop PCBA requirements in collaboration with other engineering disciplines
- Create schematics and PCB layouts using Altium Designer
- Perform circuit analysis including power, tolerance, and reliability assessments
- Conduct PCBA design verification and system integration testing
- Support production manufacturing as needed
- Test and operate systems on orbit
