About this role
Rocket Science Group seeks a Senior Developer Support Technician to manage live operations and customer support for their Multiplay game server hosting platform. You'll monitor services 24/7, handle incident response, troubleshoot backend systems, and advocate for customer success while working rotating shifts in the Albany, NY office.
What you'll do
- Monitor live services and manage incident response to maintain optimal performance across platforms
- Handle customer support tickets and escalations as the primary technical point of contact
- Diagnose server issues and perform basic debugging to restore backend services during incidents
- Provide proactive technical oversight and drive customer success on long-term projects
- Create and refine incident management procedures, escalation protocols, and communication standards
- Partner with engineering and business teams to maintain platform quality and advocate for customer needs
