About this role
Saronic Technologies is looking for a Build Engineer to oversee the development and integration of autonomous service vessels. This role will act as a crucial link between design and production teams to ensure efficient and high-quality vessel assembly.
What you'll do
- Assist in design and construction of Autonomous surface vehicles
- Collaborate on CAD modeling and vessel optimization
- Liaise between engineering, drafting, and production
- Lead root cause analysis and resolve non-conformances
- Coordinate Engineering Change Orders and ensure traceability
- Support integration of autonomous navigation systems
What they're looking for
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering field
- Familiarity with maritime standards and regulations
- Strong engineering principles in structural, mechanical, and electrical systems
- Experience in shipyard or onboard environments
- Proficient in 2D and 3D CAD software
- Understanding of technical drawings and fabrication tolerances
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Comfortable in an industrial environment
