About this role

Saronic Technologies seeks a Security Engineer for AI Platform Engineering to build secure, governed AI solutions across the company. You'll enable departments to adopt AI safely through platform development, security guardrails, governance frameworks, and hands-on education—acting as both infrastructure builder and trusted advisor to non-technical teams.

What you'll do

  • Design and build production-ready AI applications, agents, and automations with real backends, integrations, and compliance controls
  • Establish company-wide AI security standards, governance policies, and data-loss-prevention mechanisms for sensitive and customer data
  • Implement monitoring, logging, and inventory systems for AI usage; treat AI agents as identities with least-privilege access
  • Educate cross-functional teams on safe and effective AI usage; teach prompt engineering, tool design, and reliability best practices
  • Architect AI agent workflows with tool integrations (MCP), context management, and validation loops for production reliability
  • Own AI governance and visibility; create guardrails and sanctioned pathways to prevent shadow AI adoption

What they're looking for

  • AI/LLM platform security and governance
  • Cloud infrastructure and deployment (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
  • AI agent design, prompt engineering, and workflow orchestration
  • Data loss prevention and monitoring systems
  • Python or similar backend languages for AI integrations
  • API design and system integrations
  • Cross-functional communication and technical education
  • Identity and access management concepts
