About this role
Scale AI seeks a Software Engineer to build end-to-end features for their Generative AI Data Engine, which powers LLM training and evaluation. You'll work across the full stack on high-scale systems processing millions of tasks weekly, collaborating with ML teams and cross-functional stakeholders in a fast-paced, ownership-driven environment.
What you'll do
- Design and implement full-stack features using TypeScript, MongoDB, Elasticsearch, and Temporal
- Own revenue-critical technical systems and scale infrastructure to handle millions of weekly tasks
- Build and iterate on complex data operations systems for RLHF, model evaluation, and safety
- Collaborate with model teams, Forward Deployed Engineers, and cross-functional stakeholders
- Contribute to compute orchestration and data integrity systems
- Help establish engineering culture and best practices for a growing team
