About this role
Applied Intuition seeks an Autonomy Integration Software Engineer to develop and deploy the core infrastructure for autonomous vehicles, managing sensor integration, inter-vehicle communications, and real-world field testing. This role combines office-based systems engineering with hands-on fieldwork, requiring expertise in robotics, autonomous systems, and multi-agent coordination.
What you'll do
- Develop and deploy software systems on autonomous vehicles, integrating sensors (RADAR, cameras, GPS) and autopilot systems
- Conduct field deployments and real-world testing of autonomous vehicle software, ensuring functionality in dynamic environments
- Collaborate with Perception and Autonomy teams to optimize perception pipelines and vehicle control systems
- Design and implement inter-vehicle communication systems for collaborative autonomous operations
- Develop CI/CD pipelines and manage software integration processes to enhance system reliability
- Integrate third-party software, APIs, and simulation environments for testing and validation
