About this role

Scout Motors seeks a Body Systems Engineering Team Leader for Exteriors/Interiors to lead the design and development of exterior and interior components for their electrified iconic SUV. This role owns the full lifecycle from concept through launch, directing cross-functional teams and ensuring technical, cost, timing, and quality targets are met.

What you'll do

  • Lead technical decision-making and approve solutions for exterior/interior subsystems (bumpers, lighting, trim, glazing, seats, restraints)
  • Manage cross-departmental planning with Design Release Engineers, Purchasing, Finance, Manufacturing, Quality, and Logistics
  • Create concept designs and analyze products through testing, validation, and commercial launch phases
  • Ensure compliance with target specifications and timing deliverables from development through series production
  • Collaborate with studio, manufacturing, and purchasing teams to integrate assigned scope efficiently
  • Prepare forward sourcing documentation including specification books and quotation details
