Specialist, Manufacturing Engineer Body Shop

Scout Motors is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer Specialist for its Body Shop to support the launch of electric vehicles. This role involves ensuring tooling capability, driving process improvements, and collaborating with teams to maintain production efficiency.

What you'll do

• Validate tooling capability and conduct tryouts
• Lead root cause analysis on manufacturing issues
• Drive process standardization and develop control plans
• Collaborate with suppliers and engineering teams
• Utilize Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma tools
• Provide on-site support for production teams

What they're looking for

• 5+ years in BIW manufacturing
• Bachelor's degree in relevant engineering field
• Experience with welding processes and robotic automation
• Knowledge of dimensional engineering principles
• Strong analytical skills with CMM reports
• Proficiency in CAD software
• Basic knowledge of robot programming
• Excellent problem-solving and collaboration skills
