Security Engineer, IAM

About this role

Sentry is seeking a Security Engineer with a focus on Identity and Access Management (IAM) to enhance security practices across the organization. This role encompasses managing access control systems, partnering with various teams, and advocating for secure design principles in a collaborative developer-centric environment.

What you'll do

• Manage identity and access management infrastructure and tools like SSO and MFA
• Enhance access control practices through automation and self-service support
• Implement secure-by-design access principles and logging practices
• Secure both user and non-user identities including API keys and service accounts
• Work cross-functionally to improve access and productivity in engineering

What they're looking for

• 3+ years of experience in IAM systems
• Proficiency in Python and scripting languages
• Experience with Terraform and infrastructure-as-code tools
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure)
• Collaborative problem-solving skills
• Knowledge of identity management platforms
