Deployment Engineer - Southeast

Skydio is looking for a Deployment Engineer to oversee the technical implementation and maintenance of their cloud-connected products. This remote role will involve significant travel across the Southeast, focusing on customer success and effectively integrating complex hardware and software solutions.

What you'll do

• Lead technical implementation of cloud-connected devices
• Collaborate with internal teams to understand product specifications
• Communicate effectively with customers to address their needs
• Resolve client complaints and manage implementation projects
• Develop deployment documentation and Standard Operating Procedures
• Support account management to foster customer loyalty

What they're looking for

• 3+ years of experience with cloud-connected devices
• Proficiency in WiFi networking
• Familiarity with Linux OS and cloud applications
• Understanding of mechanical and robotic systems
• Ability to travel 75% of the time
• Ability to obtain a Part 107 certificate
• Knowledge in IP networking and troubleshooting
• Basic software development knowledge (scripting)
