About this role
Snowflake is hiring software engineering interns for Spring 2027 to work across Core, Infrastructure, and Security domains on enterprise-grade distributed systems and data platform technology. You'll contribute to real systems serving global customers while developing expertise in large-scale data processing, cloud infrastructure, and security technologies.
What you'll do
- Build and improve core systems for Snowflake's distributed data platform
- Develop infrastructure automation and tooling to enhance engineering productivity
- Contribute to security frameworks covering encryption, authentication, and access control
- Write and test code for high-performance, large-scale data processing systems
- Participate in multi-cloud deployment and release automation projects
- Collaborate with world-class engineers on challenging, customer-facing systems
