About this role

SpaceX seeks an Environmental Health & Safety Engineer to develop and maintain comprehensive EHS programs for AI infrastructure and compute facilities in Memphis, TN. You'll ensure regulatory compliance across OSHA, EPA, and other agencies while collaborating with engineering teams on hazard assessments, incident investigations, and safety solutions for high-power systems and hazardous materials operations.

What you'll do

  • Develop and maintain compliance with OSHA, NFPA, NIOSH, EPA, CERCLA, RCRA, and DOT regulations
  • Collaborate with engineering teams and facility managers on job hazard assessments and safety policy implementation
  • Monitor employee exposure to physical and chemical hazards and recommend remedial actions
  • Perform detailed safety reviews of complex operations involving high-power systems, cooling infrastructure, and hazardous materials
  • Lead incident investigations including root cause analysis, corrective actions, and closure
  • Inspect facilities and equipment to identify hazards and ensure regulatory compliance
