About this role
SpaceX seeks a Full Stack Software Engineer to develop mission-critical applications supporting launch vehicle production, Starship manufacturing systems, and Starlink's satellite constellation management. You'll own challenging projects end-to-end, collaborating with cross-functional teams to build reliable software that directly enables SpaceX's operational goals.
What you'll do
- Develop highly reliable, mission-critical software solutions used across SpaceX operations
- Create new applications that improve manufacturing and flight operations efficiency
- Build prototypes to validate design concepts and quantify technical constraints
- Own full software engineering lifecycle from design through deployment and monitoring
- Investigate user needs deeply to design and implement efficient solutions
- Participate in architecture reviews, design discussions, and code reviews with the team

- Full stack development across frontend and backend
- Object-oriented programming (Python, C#.NET, Go, Scala, or Java)
- Single page application development (React, Angular, or similar)
- Database design and management (PostgreSQL, SQL Server)
