About this role
SpaceX seeks a Full Stack Software Engineer to develop mission-critical applications supporting rocket production, Starship operations, and Starlink infrastructure. You'll own end-to-end software solutions that directly enable SpaceX's manufacturing and flight operations, working on everything from rapid build systems to high-throughput factory software and satellite network management.
What you'll do
- Design and build highly reliable software systems used across SpaceX's operations
- Develop new applications that optimize SpaceX's manufacturing and flight processes
- Create prototypes to validate design concepts and identify technical constraints
- Own full software engineering lifecycle from architecture through deployment
- Analyze user problems deeply to engineer efficient, production-grade solutions
- Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and team design decisions

- Full stack development (1+ years required)
- Object-oriented programming (Python, C#.NET, Go, Scala, Java, or similar)
- Single page web applications (Angular, React, or similar frameworks)
- Backend systems design and architecture

- Version control, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment practices
- Database design (PostgreSQL, SQL Server)
