About this role
SpaceX seeks an IT Network Infrastructure Engineer to design and deploy scalable data center cabling plants supporting AI training and inference operations. You'll plan structured connectivity systems for current and future network architectures, manage large-scale projects from design through construction, and collaborate across engineering disciplines to ensure reliability and efficiency.
What you'll do
- Design scalable, future-proof data center cabling plants supporting network speeds beyond 800G
- Procure fiber, copper, and connectivity materials for new builds and technology refreshes
- Provide project management and construction oversight for connectivity infrastructure
- Plan and execute network upgrades in live data center environments with minimal downtime
- Develop Methods of Procedure and Standard Operating Procedures for deployments
- Collaborate cross-functionally with capacity planning, network engineering, and operations teams
