Reliability Engineer, Facilities

SpaceX is seeking a Reliability Engineer for Facilities to oversee various engineering processes related to MEP systems and ensure compliance with standards during construction and maintenance. The role involves managing project teams, coordinating repairs, and ensuring facility readiness while supporting significant aerospace projects.

What you'll do

• Lead MEP engineering teams and stakeholders throughout project phases
• Provide technical support to meet construction standards and specifications
• Manage design and documentation for engineering projects
• Coordinate maintenance and repair efforts for facility systems
• Prepare capital expenditure reviews and ensure design specifications are met
• Respond to facility emergencies and manage readiness procedures

What they're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in engineering
• 1+ years of MEP systems experience
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit
• Experience managing large construction projects
• Knowledge of HVAC and plumbing systems
• Ability to assess and troubleshoot facility issues
• Familiarity with relevant building codes
• Strong organizational and communication skills
