Security Engineer (Embedded OT)

SpaceX is seeking a Security Engineer to enhance the security of its embedded operational technology systems. This role involves designing, implementing, and maintaining security solutions to protect company data, networks, and systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards.

What you'll do

• Design and maintain security solutions for SpaceX systems and networks
• Develop authentication and identity services, including multi-factor solutions
• Automate identity lifecycle management processes
• Implement network security measures and application security controls
• Collaborate with various teams to enhance security protocols and tools
• Document and advise on security solutions as a subject matter expert

What they're looking for

• Proficiency in Python, GO, C#, C/C++, or Rust
• Experience with secure code development
• Knowledge of public key infrastructure (PKI)
• Familiarity with SAML, OIDC, and OAuth
• Understanding of TCP/IP and UDP protocols
• Ability to solve complex problems
• Experience with enterprise security controls
• Familiarity with web-based APIs and development practices
