Software Engineer, Applied AI (Starlink)
About this role
SpaceX seeks a Software Engineer for Applied AI on the Starlink UXSW team to build digital interfaces and systems for millions of satellite internet customers. You'll develop full-stack applications using TypeScript/React and .NET microservices, create LLM-powered tools, and own the end-to-end customer experience from setup to support.
What you'll do
- Develop responsive, performant web applications and full-stack systems for Starlink's customer-facing digital platform
- Build highly reliable and available software using .NET microservices architecture running on Kubernetes
- Design and implement fault-tolerant networks that operate at scale with minimal maintenance
- Deliver expert-level TypeScript React code while implementing backend services and integrations
- Implement monitoring, alerting, and observability systems to drive data-driven improvements
- Collaborate with product, support, and engineering teams to solve customer problems and advance engineering practices
