Software Engineer, Satellite Operations (Starshield)

SpaceX is seeking a Software Engineer for the Starshield project to enhance satellite operations using advanced software solutions. Candidates will develop systems for monitoring, diagnosing, and maintaining the satellite constellation, while collaborating across various engineering disciplines.

What you'll do

• Manage the full software lifecycle from development to operational support
• Develop reliable software for satellite tasking and monitoring
• Design and implement satellite flight software
• Build automated ground-based software for data processing and satellite control
• Diagnose on-orbit faults in collaboration with other engineers
• Lead satellite operations and perform data reviews
