Software Engineer, Telemetry (Starlink)

About this role

SpaceX seeks a Software Engineer to design and operate a large-scale distributed telemetry platform for Starlink, handling petabyte-scale data ingestion, processing, and querying. You'll work end-to-end across software and hardware stacks, partnering with satellite teams to solve mission-critical challenges that deliver reliable broadband to millions of users globally.

What you'll do

• Design, build, and operate a highly reliable distributed telemetry platform at petabyte scale
• Collaborate with engineers on architecture, design, and code reviews
• Partner with satellite and rocket teams to translate mission needs into technical solutions
• Own complete end-to-end software and hardware stack responsibility
• Apply first-principles thinking to solve complex business problems efficiently
