About this role

Voleon, a multibillion-dollar AI-driven asset manager, seeks a Software Engineer to design and scale data infrastructure supporting research and production workflows. You'll lead complex projects, mentor teammates, and shape the developer experience while collaborating with ML researchers and cross-functional teams.

What you'll do

• Guide large-scale initiatives from requirements and system design through deployment with stakeholder collaboration
• Build scalable data infrastructure including data cataloging, versioning, and lineage systems
• Design and implement data platforms with focus on developer experience and API usability
• Provide technical mentorship to engineering and research staff
• Define and execute on the team's technical roadmap for strategic engineering goals
• Collaborate with ML researchers and diverse engineering teams to improve data accessibility

• Proficiency in Python, Go, Java, or C++
• Linux/UNIX development experience
