About this role

Stripe seeks a Backend Engineer to join the LPM Partner Success team, building platform abstractions and self-serve tools that enable payment method partners to integrate faster and operate independently. You'll design systems supporting 26+ local payment methods while collaborating across teams to ensure seamless feature completeness.

What you'll do

  • Build multi-tenant platforms that improve feature completeness across 10+ local payment methods simultaneously
  • Ship features on the LPM Partner Dashboard, a greenfield product providing partners visibility and control
  • Design self-serve workflows enabling partners to debug, monitor, and operate independently
  • Streamline the LPM integration process to accelerate onboarding of new payment methods
  • Collaborate with OCS, Billing, Risk, and other teams to ensure integrations support core Stripe products
  • Debug and resolve production issues across the stack; mentor team engineers
