About this role
Stripe is seeking a Growth Engineer to design and build scalable payment experiences while partnering with cross-functional teams. You'll develop APIs and experiments to measure product effectiveness, mentor junior engineers, and apply data science techniques to improve user behavior at a financial infrastructure platform processing billions annually.
What you'll do
- Collaborate with engineers, designers, and product managers to build secure, scalable consumer payment experiences
- Design and build APIs, services, and experiments to evaluate product features against business metrics
- Mentor junior engineers, participate in hiring, and help develop team culture and best practices
- Improve engineering standards, tooling, and development processes across the organization
- Apply data analysis and machine learning to understand and optimize product and user behaviors
- Write and test source code in Ruby, JavaScript, TypeScript, and JVM languages
