About this role
Stripe Capital seeks an experienced Machine Learning Engineer to design and deploy ML models for automated business financing underwriting. You'll build scalable production systems that leverage business data to provide tailored lending opportunities while meeting financial and regulatory requirements.
What you'll do
- Design and develop state-of-the-art ML models for underwriting and portfolio management within risk and regulatory constraints
- Build systems to accelerate model deployment from idea to production
- Experiment with ML models using PyTorch, TensorFlow, and other frameworks to drive business goals
- Develop training and evaluation pipelines for offline and online environments
- Integrate and optimize ML models in production systems for scalability and reliability
- Collaborate with product, engineering, and risk teams on feature development and model improvements
