About this role
Stripe seeks a Software Engineer to develop and maintain checkout and payments products that serve millions of businesses globally. You'll own end-to-end solutions, collaborate across teams, and balance business priorities with technical excellence on a modern payments platform.
What you'll do
- Own and solve problems end-to-end across diverse systems, processes, and technologies
- Build new products and features for next-generation payments experiences leveraging Stripe's payment infrastructure
- Collaborate with product, design, infrastructure, marketing, and operations stakeholders
- Develop and execute against short- and long-term technical roadmaps
- Make effective tradeoffs between business priorities, user experience, and technical sustainability
- Maintain high engineering standards across multiple codebases and processes
