About this role
Terran Orbital seeks a Systems Integration Engineer to design, build, integrate, and test satellite systems at sub-system and full-system levels. This hands-on role combines engineering analysis with practical assembly and troubleshooting to support spacecraft manufacturing and launch operations.
What you'll do
- Design assembly and testing campaigns for satellite sub-systems and full systems
- Write, review, and execute assembly and test procedures; manage work orders and nonconformances
- Debug electrical and mechanical issues at the satellite system and sub-system level
- Evaluate proposed designs for manufacturability, integration, and scalability
- Design and develop tools and hardware to enable vehicle assembly and testing
- Provide technical guidance, train personnel, and present results to customers and leadership
