About this role
NISC seeks a back-end software developer to build and maintain billing calculation software for telecom and broadband providers. Working with Python, Progress, Linux, and shell scripting, you'll process raw billing data files and support mission-critical billing operations for utilities serving millions of customers.
What you'll do
- Develop and enhance billing software for broadband communication members
- Process raw data files (CSV, BAF, etc.) and transform them into billing records
- Write and maintain back-end code using Python, Progress, Linux, and shell scripting
- Support the iVUE Telecom Bill Calculations Software platform
- Collaborate with team members on complex billing system challenges
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues in production billing environments
