About this role
NISC seeks a back-end Python developer to join the iVUE Telecom Bill Calculations team, building software that processes billing data for telecom and broadband providers serving millions of end customers. You'll work with data file conversion, billing logic, and core technologies including Python, Progress, Linux, Shell Scripting, and C in a collaborative environment.
What you'll do
- Develop and maintain billing software solutions for broadband communication members
- Process and convert raw data files (CSV, BAF, etc.) into billing records
- Write back-end code using Python, Progress, Linux, and Shell Scripting
- Support the iVUE telecom billing calculation platform
- Collaborate with team members on complex technical challenges
- Troubleshoot and resolve billing system issues
