About this role

Toast seeks a Software Engineer I to develop full-stack web solutions for their WYSIWYG website builder and AI-powered Digital Growth Agent. You'll collaborate across design and product teams to build high-converting, customizable websites for restaurant customers while leveraging modern technologies and AI tools.

What you'll do

  • Design and implement full-stack web solutions using Node.js, Java/Kotlin, and frontend frameworks
  • Enhance platform performance, usability, and scalability across the website builder ecosystem
  • Collaborate with Design and Product teams to translate requirements into technical implementations
  • Identify and execute high-impact opportunities with rapid iteration and experimentation
  • Write testable, clean code with strong API design and testing practices
  • Work cross-functionally to ensure seamless product ecosystem integration and customer experience
