Infrastructure Design Engineer

Together AI is seeking an Infrastructure Design Engineer to lead the design and execution of whitespace environments within their AI data centers. This role involves collaborating with various teams to ensure optimal infrastructure setup for high-density GPU clusters, requiring expertise in multiple technical areas including power and cooling systems.

What you'll do

• Design HPC cluster layouts for high-density GPU deployments
• Collaborate with engineering teams on power and cooling integration
• Define physical layer requirements for AI cluster interconnections
• Advise on data center builds to ensure design compliance
• Develop CAD/BIM drawings and technical documentation
• Drive continuous improvement in design standards and processes

What they're looking for

• Understanding of data center design and critical facilities engineering
• Experience as an owner's engineer or resident engineer
• Knowledge of electrical and cooling systems interfacing
• Proficiency in CAD/BIM tools like AutoCAD or Revit
• Familiarity with industry standards such as TIA-942
• Ability to manage multiple projects in fast-paced environments
• Willingness to travel for site inspections
• Experience with high-density GPU cluster cooling systems (nice to have)
