About this role
Torc seeks a Software Engineer I to build cloud-based metrics and validation infrastructure for autonomous trucking. You'll develop data pipelines, compute safety KPIs, and support release validation workflows that ensure production-grade autonomy system reliability.
What you'll do
- Develop and maintain AWS-based data pipelines processing vehicle telemetry and validation data
- Write Python services for safety and performance metric computation
- Analyze truck-generated data and translate it into measurable system signals
- Support release validation logic integrated with automated testing pipelines
- Investigate pipeline failures and data anomalies using logs and large datasets
- Collaborate with systems and autonomy teams to define KPIs and metrics
