About this role

Join Toshiba Global Commerce Solutions as an Agentic Software Engineering Intern this fall, working 20–30 hours per week on POS and retail solutions in Durham, NC. You'll leverage LLM integration and agentic systems knowledge to develop features across Java, JavaScript, and cloud technologies within an agile team environment.

What you'll do

  • Code, test, and maintain features for POS systems, mobile apps, and retail solutions
  • Implement enterprise and cloud-side components using Java, JavaScript, and modern UI frameworks
  • Troubleshoot technical issues and fix/verify defects under engineer guidance
  • Participate in design, development, testing, and system maintenance with cross-functional agile teams
  • Learn TGCS product offerings and their market applications
  • Support RESTful microservices and database implementations (relational and NoSQL)
