Toshiba Global Commerce Solutions seeks a Product Configuration & Quality Engineer to manage POS hardware staging services, overseeing quote development, Bills of Materials creation, routing process design, and quality assurance activities. The role bridges technical expertise with operational planning to deliver cost-effective, compliant hardware solutions for manufacturing and customer requirements.
What you'll do
- Prepare accurate, cost-effective staging quotes based on customer requirements and product specifications
- Create and release Engineering Changes and Bills of Materials for specific configurations and returned equipment
- Develop staging processes and customized routing documents including assembly instructions, testing procedures, and packaging design
- Validate Line Build In processes and oversee pilot runs to confirm routing accuracy and quality standards
- Design and test packaging solutions including drawings, matrices, and pallet configurations
- Support quality activities including hotline approvals, investigations, database analysis, and field representative support
