Quality Assurance Engineer III
About this role
Toshiba Global Commerce Solutions seeks a Quality Assurance Engineer III to own end-to-end product quality across the lifecycle—from new product introduction through field performance monitoring. The role drives quality governance, manages corrective actions, leads supplier and manufacturing quality initiatives, and translates quality data into executive insights for cross-functional teams.
What you'll do
- Own monthly E2E product scorecard process, consolidate quality reporting inputs, and prepare management summaries that translate data into risks and decisions
- Develop quality plans, support investment and launch readiness reviews, and verify products meet requirements before release
- Monitor production and field performance, review hardware support metrics, identify recurring issues, and drive corrective action closure
- Support supplier audits, manufacturing readiness, defect resolution, root cause investigations, and corrective/preventive action implementation
- Maintain quality repositories, templates, SOPs, RCA tools, and standardized procedures in SharePoint and related systems
- Partner with Software Support Analyst to define quality metrics, KPIs, and validation requirements while ensuring data quality

- Root cause analysis, corrective/preventive actions, and supplier quality management
- Cross-functional leadership in quality reviews and process improvement
- Data analysis and trend identification in production and field performance
- Proficiency with Jira, Smartsheet, SharePoint, Excel, PowerPoint, and dashboards
- Technical writing and process documentation
- Communication of sensitive quality issues (stop-ship, containment, corrective actions)
