Software Engineer, Development Tools

Tower Research Capital seeks an experienced Software Engineer to enhance their development tools and infrastructure, focusing on optimizing developer productivity and automation. The role involves collaboration with various teams to ensure a high-performance electronic trading platform while nurturing a supportive work environment.

What you'll do

• Design and enhance developer tools and systems infrastructure
• Contribute to the architecture and scalability of build systems
• Automate developer workflows for reliability and quick iteration
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on initiatives
• Improve CI/CD pipelines and testing frameworks
• Implement monitoring and alerting solutions for developer tooling

What they're looking for

• C++, Rust, and/or Python programming
• Experience with build tools like Bazel, Buck2, CMake
• DevOps tooling knowledge including CI/CD and Docker
• Cloud infrastructure experience (GCP, AWS) preferred
• Strong understanding of Linux/Unix systems
• Proven performance optimization skills
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code
