What you'll do
- Interface with customers and suppliers on quality matters and manage corrective action requests (SCARs)
- Conduct inspections, testing, and measurements of materials and finished products using precision instruments like calipers and micrometers
- Develop, document, and improve manufacturing processes including time studies and labor assessments
- Perform failure mode analyses (DFMEAs, PFMEAs), root cause analysis, and risk assessments
- Create CAD models, technical drawings, and specification sheets; participate in product design reviews
- Maintain quality control documentation, calibration programs, and compliance with regulatory requirements
