About this role
Anduril seeks a Chief Engineer for International Air Defense to serve as the single technical authority for air defense programs across the Middle East. You'll own system architecture, integration strategy, and fielding readiness while working across commercial sales, foreign military sales, and multi-site deployments—spending significant time forward in the region to ensure technical performance and customer success.
What you'll do
- Serve as Chief Engineer and technical authority for Middle East air defense programs, owning system architecture, integration strategy, and fielding readiness
- Chair design reviews, set technical baselines, and make key decisions to keep schedules aligned with engineering constraints across programs
- Define interfaces and integration scope with coalition hardware, partner radars, effectors, and third-party systems; negotiate directly with vendors and government program offices
- Support foreign military and direct commercial sales by owning engineering positions in contract negotiations, export posture, and localization requirements
- Deploy to the region to work with operators and field service teams, lead technical recovery when fielded sites degrade, and feed lessons learned back into product improvements
- Represent Anduril's engineering position to partner nations, program offices, and authorization authorities; translate operational requirements into executable technical plans
