About this role
Trace3 seeks a Cloud Engineer I/II to design, deploy, and manage AWS infrastructure while supporting cloud migrations and modernization for government clients. The role requires expertise in security, infrastructure-as-code, and Zero Trust architecture, with an active Public Trust clearance mandatory.
What you'll do
- Design, provision, and deploy AWS infrastructure (EC2, VPC, IAM, S3, RDS, Lambda, CloudWatch) following best practices
- Execute cloud migrations with minimal downtime while ensuring data integrity and application continuity
- Implement Zero Trust architecture principles and security controls to meet compliance requirements
- Configure and manage IAM policies, Active Directory integration, and role-based access controls
- Monitor system performance using CloudWatch and observability tools; conduct root cause analysis on incidents
- Maintain infrastructure documentation and provide technical reports for internal and customer stakeholders
