About this role

True Anomaly seeks a Civil Test Engineer to design and maintain physical infrastructure supporting spacecraft testing operations in Long Beach. You'll lead test stand design, facility construction, civil infrastructure management, and regulatory compliance for mission-critical propulsion, fluids, and mechanical test campaigns.

What you'll do

  • Design, fabricate, and commission test stands, structural supports, and mounting hardware for propulsion and fluids testing
  • Manage site civil infrastructure including concrete pads, foundations, and utility systems (water, compressed gas, electrical, drainage)
  • Develop structural designs for facility modifications, expansions, and ground support equipment installations
  • Oversee facilities maintenance, upgrades, and day-to-day operations at the test site
  • Interface with regulatory agencies on permits, compliance, and site approvals
  • Support test operations teams across multiple engineering disciplines
