Electrical Engineer III
About this role
True Anomaly seeks an experienced Electrical Engineer III to lead worst-case circuit analysis and derating activities for autonomous spacecraft and advanced payloads. You'll conduct rigorous electrical analysis per military standards, mentor junior engineers, and support the full product development lifecycle for space defense systems.
What you'll do
- Conduct worst-case circuit analysis (WCCA) and derating analysis in compliance with MIL, ASTM, TIA, EIA, and EEE-INST-002 standards
- Prepare test equipment, fixtures, and components to simulate real-world and idealized electrical test conditions
- Troubleshoot complex electronic systems using oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, and time domain reflectometers
- Document test results, defects, and corrective actions in clear reports; support root cause analysis and design verification
- Collaborate with design engineers and subject matter experts to review WCCA findings and update designs for qualification and release
- Mentor junior engineers and drive continuous improvement of electrical analysis processes across spacecraft programs
