Junior Software Engineer
About this role
Trulioo seeks a Junior Software Engineer to advance AI-powered verification agents from prototype to production. You'll work on hardening agentic systems, building evaluation frameworks, and collaborating with product teams in a hybrid San Diego role ideal for recent Master's graduates with hands-on AI and coding assistant experience.
What you'll do
- Develop and deploy discovery agent prototypes through the full software development lifecycle
- Refactor proof-of-concept code to production quality with error handling, observability, and testing
- Design and build evaluation frameworks for agent behavior validation
- Support data pipelines and ingestion using AWS and big data tools
- Collaborate with product and senior engineers to implement business requirements
- Participate in production monitoring, alerting, and incident response for AI services
