Injection Molding Development Engineer
About this role
US Conec seeks an Injection Molding Development Engineer to design, optimize, and industrialize high-volume injection molding processes and equipment. You'll lead process improvements, equipment validation, and cross-functional projects while applying scientific molding principles and lean methodologies to enhance efficiency and quality.
What you'll do
- Plan and manage projects delivering high-volume industrialized injection molding cells
- Develop and optimize injection molding processes to improve efficiency, quality, and cycle times
- Conduct capability studies and lead Design of Experiment initiatives to reduce process variation
- Lead equipment installations and qualification activities including IQ/OQ/PQ protocols
- Support mold tool qualifications, test runs, and new product introductions
- Standardize process validation documentation and provide technical training to staff
