About this role
Vannevar is seeking a Machine Learning Engineer to lead the development of scalable ML services for enriching defense technology insights. The ideal candidate will work throughout the entire ML lifecycle, collaborating with teams to optimize and deploy models that support critical mission objectives.
What you'll do
- Design and develop scalable ML services for enrichment workflows
- Deploy and optimize models for low-latency, high-throughput performance
- Collaborate with product teams to define data requirements and modeling strategies
- Monitor and evaluate model performance for production reliability
- Stay updated on emerging ML techniques and best practices
What they're looking for
- 5+ years of ML system development
- Proficient in ONNX, vLLM, TensorRT
- Experience with PyTorch and TensorFlow
- Strong understanding of ML lifecycle
- Solid software engineering skills
- Knowledge of Kubernetes and distributed systems
- Passion for performant ML systems
- U.S. Person status required
