Vannevar is seeking a Product Engineer to enhance their defense technology platform with agentic AI, focusing on modernizing mission-critical software systems. This remote role requires collaboration with various stakeholders to build full-stack workflows that enable warfighters to make faster, data-driven decisions.
What you'll do
- Lead design and development of coding harness for systems modernization.
- Build integrations for end-to-end modernization workflows.
- Guide implementation of robust agentic workflows.
- Collaborate with customers and product teams to align solutions with real-world needs.
- Define AI-native product strategies for engineers and program managers.

- Active U.S. TS Security clearance with SCI eligibility
- Experience with coding agents and software engineering tools
- Integration of commercial software products and APIs
- 5+ years of software development experience
- Proficiency in Python and TypeScript
- Knowledge of PostgreSQL
- Experience with cloud services like AWS
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
