About this role
Varda seeks a Build Reliability Engineer in El Segundo to ensure spacecraft hardware production meets quality and reliability standards at scale. You'll collaborate with design and manufacturing teams to develop test plans, inspection procedures, and manufacturability strategies while managing non-conforming product and supporting quality and mission assurance initiatives.
What you'll do
- Partner with design and manufacturing teams to create test, manufacturability, and inspection plans for vehicle hardware
- Contain and manage suspect or non-conforming product, guiding quality inspectors and technicians on remediation
- Ensure production processes yield verified, reliable spacecraft hardware at production rate
- Support Quality, Flight Reliability, and Mission Assurance functions as needed
- Develop and implement process improvements for spacecraft production scalability
