About this role

Vast seeks an Integration Engineer to manage vehicle-level integration and launch operations for Haven-1 commercial space station, overseeing ATLO sequences, hardware handling, and launch campaign execution at Cape Canaveral and other facilities.

What you'll do

  • Define and manage vehicle configuration states for test readiness, shipping, and launch processing
  • Develop and execute ATLO sequences, coordinating vehicle state transitions between integration, test, and launch operations
  • Plan critical handling of flight hardware including lifting, weighing, transport, and mechanical/electrical mate operations
  • Support launch site operations including payload processing, vehicle stacking, and launch campaign execution
  • Author integration procedures, work orders, and sequencing plans while directing technicians and multi-person teams
  • Ensure vehicle meets cleanliness, contamination control, and environmental requirements throughout integration and processing
