About this role
Veeam seeks an experienced Sales Systems Engineer to drive commercial revenue by partnering with mid-market customers as a trusted technical advisor throughout the sales cycle. You'll design resilient data protection solutions, lead complex engagements from discovery through proof-of-concept, and articulate technical value to both technical and executive audiences.
What you'll do
- Partner with mid-market customers as technical advisor, delivering solution architecture and pre-sales engineering expertise across the sales cycle
- Manage multiple concurrent sales opportunities while balancing deep technical engagement with deal progression and responsiveness
- Lead complex sales engagements from discovery through solution design, technical validation, and POC execution
- Demonstrate business and technical value of data resilience, security, and AI-enabled solutions to drive customer outcomes
- Deliver compelling presentations, product demos, and technical workshops to practitioners, architects, and executives
- Collaborate with sales teams, channel partners, and technology alliances to advance opportunities and mentor team members
