About this role
Build and maintain Workday integrations while designing next-generation People Operations tools at Vercel. This hybrid role blends hands-on integration engineering with product-focused work to modernize HR tech, requiring both technical depth in Workday platforms and functional understanding of HR processes.
What you'll do
- Build and integrate Vercel-powered internal People Operations tools to support a headless HR tech stack
- Develop, maintain, and troubleshoot Workday integrations using EIB, Core Connectors, Workday Studio, and APIs
- Partner with People Operations, Finance, IT, and Engineering teams to translate process requirements into integration solutions
- Monitor integration health, troubleshoot failures, and drive cross-functional fixes
- Develop working knowledge of hire-to-retire, compensation, benefits, and org management processes
- Document integration logic, field mappings, and processes; contribute to testing, security, and change management practices
