Critical Facilities Engineer
About this role
Verisign seeks a Critical Facilities Engineer to oversee the design, installation, and maintenance of data center infrastructure systems across their network. You'll manage power, cooling, and environmental systems while coordinating facility upgrades, preventative maintenance, and vendor relationships to ensure continuous DNS service delivery.
What you'll do
- Support data center operations by analyzing and tracking space, power, and cooling requirements
- Maintain and upgrade critical facility infrastructure including power, HVAC, and environmental systems
- Plan, manage, and oversee facility projects with vendor coordination and contract management
- Create and maintain commissioning checklists, certifications, and testing documentation for life safety and facility systems
- Review engineering drawings, produce statements of work, and manage equipment bids and specifications
- Conduct site surveys to identify structural, power, HVAC, security, and operational requirements
